About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work 3 days per week, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they prepare for SATs, transition to secondary school and end-of-year assessments.

• Start Date: ASAP

• Location: Exeter, Devon

• Contract: Part time – 3 days per week

• Pay: M1–M6 (dependent on experience, paid weekly)

What You’ll Do

• Deliver well-planned, engaging Year 6 lessons

• Prepare pupils for SATs and build confidence

• Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs

• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Support pupils’ academic and emotional development

• Uphold safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome

• Strong understanding of Year 6 curriculum and assessment expectations

• Confident classroom management skills

• Positive, motivating and supportive teaching approach
