 Year 5 Teacher – Full Time
Blackburn
Start Date: After the Easter Holidays
£120 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackburn on a full-time basis starting after the Easter break.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring pupils in Upper Key Stage 2.

The Role

  • Full-time Year 5 class teacher

  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable)

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing

  • Show enthusiasm, creativity and a proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
