Job Title: Class Teacher

Contract: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support pupils in their learning journey, while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
