Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in a supportive, community-focused school?
Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Leigh (WN7) that is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the Role:
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, resilience, and curiosity.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future planning.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues across the key stage to support pupil outcomes.
- Prepare pupils for the challenges of Year 6, focusing on developing key literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Upper Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a focused and supportive learning environment.
- A caring, engaging approach with a clear commitment to pupil wellbeing, progress, and high standards.
- Confident use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
