Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Leigh (WN7) that is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the Role:

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, resilience, and curiosity.
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future planning.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues across the key stage to support pupil outcomes.
• Prepare pupils for the challenges of Year 6, focusing on developing key literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Upper Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a focused and supportive learning environment.
• A caring, engaging approach with a clear commitment to pupil wellbeing, progress, and high standards.
• Confident use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
