Job description

Year 5/6 Teacher | LE9 Sapcote

Year 5/6 Teacher
Sapcote (LE9)
Competitive daily rate (DOE)
Long-term opportunity

At Teaching Personnel, we know that great teachers aren’t just about delivering lessons — they’re about inspiring confidence, building relationships and leaving a lasting impact. That’s exactly what the schools we work with are looking for.

We’re currently supporting a welcoming and well-led primary school in the Sapcote area in their search for a Year 5/6 Teacher to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a class where you can really make your mark during such an important stage of pupils’ learning.

The role will involve taking some classroom responsibility, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition into secondary school. There’s a real focus on building confidence, encouraging independence and helping pupils feel ready for that next step, both academically and personally.

The school is looking for someone who brings a calm, confident presence to the classroom, alongside strong behaviour management and the ability to engage pupils of all abilities. Whether you’re an experienced KS2 teacher or an ECT looking for the right supportive environment, what matters most is your ability to build relationships and create a positive, structured learning space.

Working with Teaching Personnel means you’ll have a consultant who genuinely gets to know what you’re looking for and supports you every step of the way. We’ll keep in regular contact, offer guidance where needed, and help you find a role that actually fits — not just something to fill a gap.

If you’re looking for your next Year 5/6 role where you can feel valued and make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
