Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Year 4) – Formby Area
Are you a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference this academic year?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school in the Formby area, who are seeking a dedicated TA to support a Year 4 pupil returning to education after a significant period of absence (since January 2025). This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, nurturing support and help the pupil re-engage with learning in a positive and structured environment.
The role:
- Part-time, long-term position
- 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 4
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Creating a safe, encouraging space for learning and development
- Starting ASAP
- Working hours are 8:30am - 12:00pm to begin with (mornings only)

- A patient, empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
