The role:

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a ‘good’ school in South Liverpool area to appoint a Science Teacher, starting ASAP until July 2024. The school is looking for a Science Teacher who can teach KS3-4 students general science: biology, physics, and chemistry.

The school:

This Liverpool school is very supportive and has spent a large portion of the pupil premium spend on raising attainment within science. Employing intervention staff and using funding to reduce the size of classes.  The course covers all aspects of the three sciences through a variety of topics and practical investigations. In Y9 they are set and the start to study for their GSCE exams. KS4 pupils follow the AQA board. 

This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a teaching role in a vibrant department.  To be considered for this Science teaching role you will need to be/have:

•            Secondary QTS, NQTS should also apply.

•            Ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

•            Proven track record in striving to achieve high attainment results.

•            Have good interpersonal and presentational skills, be forward thinking, with the ability to inspire students through their subject.
