⭐ Potential Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Kensington area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher for a full-time supply position starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a long-term role with full classroom responsibility within a well-established school community. There is also the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class from 1 September until at least 18 December 2026, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to make strong academic progress throughout the autumn term.

This is a long-term supply booking but will involve all the responsibilities expected of a permanent class teacher, including:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Preparing learning resources and maintaining a well-organised classroom environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback
  • Marking work in line with school policy
  • Managing behaviour effectively and positively
  • Attending staff meetings and training sessions
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider school community

Working Hours

  • Tuesday to Friday: 8:15am – 4:15pm
  • Monday: 8:15am – 5:00pm (to accommodate weekly staff meetings and training)
  • Dedicated weekly PPA time provided

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is confident with planning, assessment and pupil progress tracking
  • Can commit to the full duration of the placement
  • Has a proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning
