Year 4 Teacher Opportunity – Birchwood
Long-Term Role - September Start 2026
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant primary school in Birchwood that is looking to appoint a confident and motivated Year 4 Teacher. This role is full-time and initially long-term, with strong potential to become a permanent post.
The school is known for its high expectations, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing a broad and balanced curriculum. The Year 4 class is well-behaved, eager to learn, and supported by an experienced teaching assistant.
The role will involve:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
- Working closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
Ideal candidate:
- Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Has a passion for raising attainment and inspiring learners
- Is proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
