Job Role: KS2 Teacher (Year 4)

Part Time (Monday & Tuesday)

Location: Templecombe

Employment dates: Immediate start – Mid July 2026

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 (Year 4) Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Templecombe, starting immediately.

This is a part-time position, working Mondays and Tuesdays, and will run until mid-July 2026.

The Role:

• Teaching a small Year 4 class of 16 pupils
• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Working collaboratively with school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Contactable professional references
• Availability to be interviewed with Teaching Personnel and the Headteacher
• A positive, flexible, and child-centred approach to teaching
• Previous teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
