Job Description

As a Year 3 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Supporting pupils through the KS1–KS2 transition with a nurturing yet structured approach

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs

  • Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Taking part in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities


Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching KS2 is desirable, though ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A passion for helping children develop academically and personally
