Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to start in January to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year.

This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their teaching career.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 5th January
  • Ongoing until the end of the academic year

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will support students as they transition into early KS2. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons which follow the national curriculum and incorporate the school’s values. You will also work closely with support staff when necessary to create and implement individualised learning support for students who require additional support.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS in Primary Education
  • Experience teaching KS2 curriculum (teacher training placements included)
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum and current behaviour management techniques
  • A genuine passion for teaching and working with young people
  • Organised and adaptable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
