Year 3 Teacher | Full Time | BS34 Bristol

Are you an experienced and confident Primary Teacher looking for a full time Year 3 role in a lovely Bristol school?

We are working with a warm, welcoming primary school in the BS34 area that is seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full time basis. The school has a supportive, inclusive atmosphere, values its staff highly and is looking for someone who can provide consistency, strong behaviour management and high quality teaching in Key Stage 2.

The Role

•Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class
•Plan, deliver and assess engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
•Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that supports progress for all learners
•Use assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning
•Implement effective behaviour management strategies and maintain a calm, focused learning environment
•Work closely with support staff to maximise learning and wellbeing for all pupils
•Build positive relationships with parents and carers and communicate progress effectively
•Contribute to the wider life and ethos of this friendly, community focused school


What We Are Looking For

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

•Strong, recent experience teaching in primary, ideally Lower KS2
•Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to hit the ground running
•Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom practice
•Confident classroom management and clear, positive communication skills
•A proactive, reflective teacher who is committed to high standards and pupil outcomes
