Job Advert: Year 3/4 Class Teacher (Mixed Class)

A friendly and supportive school based north of Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Class Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position, with flexibility around planning responsibilities for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact within a mixed Key Stage 2 classroom, supporting pupils’ development during a key stage in their primary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons for a mixed Year 3/4 class
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Have previous experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to pupil progress

Additional Information:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
