Year 2 Teacher –  Primary School (Start January 2026)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Stockport that are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time role (8:30 am – 3:30 pm), perfect for a teacher who wants to make a real impact in a supportive environment.

Your Role

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils.
  • Monitor and assess progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and ideas.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learning needs.
  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and current teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence using technology to support learning.
