Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to work in a variety of welcoming primary schools across Doncaster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys supporting pupils at a key stage in their education. The role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs looking to gain valuable Key Stage 1 experience in a range of school settings.

The Role:

• Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic and emotional development

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

• Working collaboratively with school staff, support staff and parents

• Opportunities available for day-to-day, short-term or long-term supply, depending on your availability

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)

• Strong classroom management skills with a caring and patient approach

• Adaptable, reliable and passionate about primary education

• Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
