Contract: Full-time, temporary with the potential to become permanent
Location: Huyton, L36

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support early literacy, numeracy and phonics development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to learn.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders to provide high-quality learning experiences.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Has experience teaching within KS1, ideally in Year 1.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and a nurturing teaching style.
  • Is committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils of all abilities.
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for helping young children succeed.
