Location: Huyton, L36

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support early literacy, numeracy and phonics development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the leadership team to deliver high‑quality teaching.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing differentiated learning opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a nurturing approach
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting children of all abilities
  • Brings creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for early education
