Year 1 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is dedicated to inspiring young learners at a key stage of their educational journey.

Start Date: 1^st September 2026

Pay: £120 - £150 per day until AWR is addressed and then paid in line with M-Scale of the role.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Support pupils transitioning from EYFS into Key Stage 1
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
• Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a secure understanding of the Year 1 curriculum (or EYFS/KS1 experience)
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and high expectations for all pupils
• Is passionate, reflective and eager to contribute to school life
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
