We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our supportive and forward-thinking school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their teaching career to develop their practice within a nurturing environment that prioritises professional growth and high-quality teaching.
You will benefit from a structured ECT induction programme, high-quality mentoring, and access to ongoing CPD as part of the Early Career Framework (ECF).
Location: Burnley
Salary: M1 (ECT pay scale after 12 working weeks)
Contract: Temporary – opportunity to turn into a permanent contract if successful
Start Date: 1st September 2026

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS
- A passion for teaching and learning
- Strong classroom organisation and communication skills
- A reflective approach and willingness to learn
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
