Year 2 Primary Teacher (Full-Time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join one of our welcoming and supportive schools from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

The Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments while fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils’ progress
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Attending and contributing to staff meetings and school events
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Supporting the wider life of the school, including marketing initiatives where required

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to school life
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
