Year 2 Primary Teacher (Full-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join one of our welcoming and supportive schools from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.
The Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments while fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils’ progress
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Attending and contributing to staff meetings and school events
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
- Supporting the wider life of the school, including marketing initiatives where required
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to school life
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
