Job Title: Wraparound Care Assistant (Before & After School Clubs)
Location: Leicester (various primary schools)
Hours: 7:00am–9:00am and/or 3:00pm–6:00pm
Contract Type: Casual / Supply

Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Assistants to support before and afterschool clubs across a range of primary schools in Leicester. This is a flexible, casual supply role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for part-time hours, with opportunities to take on additional work as a Teaching Assistant (TA) through our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children across all primary year groups

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities to keep students motivated and entertained

• Supervise children during play, snack times, and structured sessions

• Encourage positive behaviour and support social development

• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

• Work collaboratively with school staff and other club members

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar setting preferred)

• A proactive and creative approach to planning activities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude

• Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare (training can be provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
