Permanent Wrap Around Care Leader – September 2026 Start
Location: Near Exeter/Teignbridge Area
Hours: 17.25 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)
Contract: Permanent

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school for a permanent Wrap Around Care Leader to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and caring individual who is passionate about supporting primary-aged children. You will lead the school's Breakfast Club and After School Club, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive before and after the school day.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:45am – 8:45am (Breakfast Club)
- Monday to Thursday: 3:15pm – 6:00pm (After School Club)
- Friday: 3:15pm – 4:30pm
Total: 17.25 hours per week, term time only.
The Role
As Wrap Around Care Leader, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Breakfast and After School Club.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for a range of ages and interests.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and school staff.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare.
- Work independently while contributing positively to the wider school community.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
- Is patient, caring, enthusiastic and enjoys working with children.
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
