Permanent Wrap Around Care Leader – September 2026 Start

Hours: 17.25 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school for a permanent Wrap Around Care Leader to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and caring individual who is passionate about supporting primary-aged children. You will lead the school's Breakfast Club and After School Club, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive before and after the school day.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:45am – 8:45am (Breakfast Club)
• Monday to Thursday: 3:15pm – 6:00pm (After School Club)
• Friday: 3:15pm – 4:30pm

Total: 17.25 hours per week, term time only.

The Role

As Wrap Around Care Leader, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Breakfast and After School Club.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for a range of ages and interests.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and school staff.
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare.
• Work independently while contributing positively to the wider school community.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
• Is patient, caring, enthusiastic and enjoys working with children.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
