Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant (Nursery)
Location: CF3 Area
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Duration: Immediate start – July
We are currently seeking a full-time Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and supportive nursery setting at a school in the CF3 area.
This role is to start as soon as possible and will run until July. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing through the medium of Welsh.
The role will involve:

Supporting children in a nursery classroom environment
-
Assisting with learning activities, both indoors and outdoors
-
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
-
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
-
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and language development
The ideal candidate will:
-
Be a fluent Welsh speaker
-
Have experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
-
Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic
-
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
-
Hold a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one)
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children through the Welsh language.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
