Location: Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire

Teaching Personnel are seeking a fluent Welsh-speaking ICT Teacher to join a vibrant, forward-thinking secondary school located in the heart of Llandeilo. This role will run for the full academic year, offering stability, strong departmental support, and the opportunity to become an essential part of a close-knit school community.

About the School (Name Withheld)

The school is a medium-sized, mixed 11–18 secondary school serving the Llandeilo and wider Tywi Valley community. It is well-known for:

  • A strong commitment to Welsh-medium education, with Welsh used across the curriculum and daily school life.

  • High expectations for behaviour, achievement, and digital competency.

  • A supportive Senior Leadership Team passionate about professional development.

  • A well-resourced ICT department equipped with modern technology, specialist software, and excellent technical support.

  • A warm, community-focused ethos, placing pupil wellbeing and inclusive learning at the centre of everything they do.

About the Role

As a Welsh-speaking ICT Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for some KS5, depending on timetable).

  • Teach fully through the medium of Welsh and promote bilingual digital literacy.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the school’s policies and the Curriculum for Wales.

  • Create engaging, practical lessons that develop pupils’ digital skills, computational thinking, and creativity.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and take part in wider school activities where appropriate.

  • Maintain strong behaviour management and build positive relationships with learners.

Both experienced ICT Teachers and strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
