What You’ll Be Doing

As a supply Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in local St Helens primary schools.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Helping children with reading, phonics, writing and maths
• Supporting pupils with additional needs or SEND
• Encouraging positive behaviour and confidence
• Helping children stay focused and engaged in lessons
• Supporting play, routines and emotional development
• Gaining valuable experience across a range of primary school settings
