We are recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across schools in the Norwich area. This is a practical, rewarding position supporting pupils in the classroom and helping them stay focused, confident, and engaged in their learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will work alongside teaching staff to provide classroom-based support to pupils with a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting pupils during lessons to maintain engagement

Supporting literacy and numeracy activities
-
Promoting positive behaviour through consistency and clear expectations
-
Helping create a structured, welcoming learning environment
-
Collaborating with teachers and school staff
This is a hands-on role where you will directly contribute to pupils’ progress and development.

Formal qualifications are not required — attitude and reliability matter most.

Flexible across different school settings

Strong communicators who work well within a team
Experience in education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care settings is advantageous but not essential. A willingness to learn and a proactive mindset are just as important.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between schools in the Norwich area may be required at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
