The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.
Your duties will include:
✅ Supervising classes across a range of subjects
✅ Delivering work that has been set by teaching staff
✅ Managing classroom behaviour effectively
✅ Supporting students to stay focused and engaged
✅ Creating a positive and productive learning environment
✅ Recording attendance and reporting any issues to senior staff
✅ Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
What We're Looking For
✔️ Experience working with young people is desirable
✔️ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔️ Confidence leading groups of students
✔️ A calm, professional and adaptable approach
✔️ A passion for supporting education and student development ⭐
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ Right to work in the UK
