We are a specialist education recruitment agency working with a large network of primary schools across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and professional university students to support local schools on a flexible basis throughout the academic year.
This opportunity is particularly suited to students studying:

- Teaching-related degrees
However, applications are welcome from students studying any subject who have experience working with children or young people.
What Does the Role Involve?
You will work within local primary schools, supporting teachers and pupils throughout the school day. Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children with classroom activities
- Working one-to-one or in small groups
- Assisting pupils who may need additional support
- Helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment
- Supporting behaviour management strategies
- Assisting with sports, outdoor learning and enrichment activities
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while earning alongside your studies.

Do I Need a Car?
No.
Many of our schools are located throughout Cardiff and are accessible by public transport, walking or cycling. A driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

Previous experience with children is highly desirable, including:
- Sports coaching
- Summer camps
- Youth work
- Scout, Guide or Cadet groups
- Tutoring
- Volunteering
- Teaching Assistant experience
- Nursery or childcare settings
- Holiday clubs
- After-school clubs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
