Job Title: Tutor – Northampton Area

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire (home-based or local school placements)
Hours: Part-time / Flexible / Full-time

About the Role:
TP Tutors is seeking a dedicated and patient 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students in the Northampton area. You will work closely with learners to help them achieve their academic goals, build confidence, and foster a positive learning experience. Tutoring sessions may take place at students’ homes, schools, or community settings, depending on what best suits the learner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science

• Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities

• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents or coordinators

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with students and families

• Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience

• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently

• Flexibility to travel within the Northampton area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
