Step outside of the classroom, but continue with your passion of supporting young people, with 1:1 outreach tuition.
We are recruiting for educators in Harwich, and surrounding areas, to work with KS3 learners in English and Maths.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, curriculum-aligned tuition in KS3 English and Maths on a 1:1 basis
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs, including those with SEN, SEMH, or barriers to learning
- Monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and complete session reports
- Maintain professional standards in safeguarding, behaviour management, and confidentiality
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent tutoring/mentoring experience
- Proven subject knowledge in GCSE English and Maths
- Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
