Job description

Do you have the ability to connect with young people and inspire learning in a way that works for them?

We are recruiting committed and adaptable tutors in Haringey to support pupils requiring personalised one-to-one tuition. Many students may have additional needs or barriers to education, so we are looking for tutors who can think outside the box and build strong, supportive relationships.

We Are Looking For Tutors Who:

  • Specialise in Maths, English, or both
  • Can offer at least 10–15 hours of availability each week
  • Have experience supporting pupils with high needs or challenging educational experiences
  • Are confident completing:
    • Baseline assessments
    • Attendance tracking
    • Detailed progress reporting
  • Can quickly adapt lessons if a pupil becomes disengaged
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, and professionals
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Tuition May Take Place:

✓ At the student’s home
✓ In schools
✓ In public learning spaces
✓ Online

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
