Who are TP Tutors?

Every child deserves support for the best start in life, no matter the challenges they face. We work with local authorities and schools to create a bespoke education.

We provide educators who span the full course of the student’s needs, whether a few months or a few years. These educators can be Learning Support Workers, Mentors, and SEND Specialists.

TP Tutors (Teaching Personnel) are thriving in the world of 1:1 education supply, and the SEN tuition space is no different.

Due to high demand, we are currently recruiting Tutors who can offer Maths, English or Science content. Successful applicants need to be confident offering Tuition on a 1:1 basis, or in small groups, and be able to identify intervention areas for each student.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience with secondary aged students
  • Experience working with students in a tuition capacity
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • Ability to plan and deliver personalised and engaging lesson plans
  • A calm, kind and patient approach
  • A professional mindset when building relationships with pupils

Why work for TP tutors?

We are a national company so you will have access to an increased volume of tuition work. Once registered you will have a dedicated consultant who will explain how tuition works and how your journey will look with TP tutors.

Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school.

Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.

Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.

Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.

Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly

Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
