We’re currently recruiting SEN Tutors in Burgess Hill to provide targeted, one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from a more personalised and flexible approach.
Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Burgess Hill and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible to suit you
The Role in Focus
You’ll work closely with students who may feel disconnected from mainstream education, helping them rebuild both skills and confidence.
- Deliver structured yet adaptable one-to-one sessions
- Support a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment
- Help students develop independence and self-belief
- Work in home or community-based settings
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience with children or young people in education, care, or support roles
- Confident in teaching core subjects at primary or secondary level
- Able to travel within Burgess Hill and surrounding areas
- Patient, proactive, and emotionally aware
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
