SEN Tutor Role – Brighton & Hove

TP Tutors is currently recruiting SEN Tutors in Brighton & Hove to support students who need a more tailored, one-to-one approach outside mainstream settings.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available

The Role
You’ll play a key role in helping students feel comfortable with learning again, creating a supportive environment where they can grow both academically and personally.

  • Deliver engaging, personalised tuition sessions
  • Support learners with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Foster confidence, independence, and motivation
  • Use creative and adaptable teaching strategies
  • Provide sessions in home or community-based settings

About You

  • Experience working with young people (education, care, or support roles)
  • Good understanding of English and maths
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and reliable
  • Able to travel locally within Brighton & Hove
  • Committed to student wellbeing and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
