Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Home & School Setting
Location: Banbury
Hours: During School Hours
Pay: Competitive Rates (Depending on Experience)
We are currently looking for dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Banbury area. Tuition sessions will take place either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.
This role is ideal for experienced tutors, teachers, and education professionals who are committed to helping young learners achieve their full potential through personalised support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to the pupil’s individual needs
- Support pupils with academic progress and confidence-building
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Provide feedback on pupil progress when required
- Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and deliver tailored learning sessions
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
