We’re looking for positive, adaptable individuals to support schools in the Thetford area as Unqualified Teaching Assistants. This is a rewarding, active role where you’ll help pupils build confidence, develop skills, and stay engaged in learning.

Your Role
You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs, helping them feel supported and ready to learn.
Responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils with classroom learning and engagement

Assisting with literacy and numeracy activities
-
Encouraging positive behaviour through clear expectations and consistency

Helping maintain a structured, welcoming environment

Working collaboratively with teachers and staff

Experience in education, care, sport, or youth work is beneficial, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between schools may be required at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
