Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Music Teacher to join the Music department at our client secondary school based in Bury.
- Full-time teaching role from September 2026.
- Paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (M1-UPS3).
- Full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Working within a high achieving, OFSTED ‘good’ secondary school based in central Bury.
The Head of Music is seeking an enthusiastic Music teacher with a track record of excellent classroom practice. You will take on a full timetable teaching KS3 and KS4 classes, therefore it is essential that you have a good knowledge of the Music curriculum.
You will plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons which cover the Music curriculum. You will also assess student progress against set targets and set new learning goals which motivate learners. It is important that you have good classroom management skills and maintain good practice of behaviour management strategies to ensure a controlled learning environment.
Teacher requirements:
- Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising in Music.
- Experience teaching Music to students aged 11-16

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
