We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals fluent in both Welsh and English to join our school community in Caerphilly as Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). This full-time position runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a start date of October 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Organise and assess students’ work while monitoring their social interactions.
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Welsh Medium Candidates: Proficiency in Welsh is essential for promoting its daily use among students.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience in an educational setting, ideally gained during university.
- A talent for connecting with students and addressing diverse learning needs.
- Skills in supporting student progress through various strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
