Teaching Assistants — Primary (Cambridge)

Contract: Temp to long-term/permanent potential
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30–3:30 (full-time & part-time available)
Start: Ongoing

The Role

Support pupils across primary year groups in welcoming, well-resourced schools in Cambridge and surrounding towns & villages. Posts include 1:1 support and general classroom TA work—both in class and, at times, outside.

You will:

• Assist with learning activities and classroom routines

• Adapt support for pupils with varying needs and abilities

• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times

• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

About You

• Experience: 6+ months in a school or similar educational setting within the last 3 years

• Qualification: TA qualification desirable (not essential)

• Safeguarding: Willing to complete interview/reference checks and hold (or obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
