Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Specialist School looking for Teaching Assistants to join the team. 

The school caters for Primary and Secondary pupils with Autism. Each child will have a designated one to one Teaching Assistant who will be delivering specific interventions plan. The vacancies are to work with either Primary or Secondary pupils due to increase in pupil numbers. The role requires Teachinng Assistants to teach pupils through reward based learning programmes. Teaching Assistants will be responsible for tracking the progress of pupils across a variety of areas and reporting to professionals to help further aid development.

Successful candidates:

  • Experience personal or professional experience with Autism
  • Special Needs experience in a mainstream and/or SEN setting
  • Resilient and comfortable managing behaviour
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Quick at learning and adapting to change
  • Passion to work with children
  • Keen to take on training as the school offers this to all new starters

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
