Teaching Assistants In Norwich

You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs, helping them stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn. This is a hands-on role where confidence, consistency, and a positive mindset are essential. Experience in education, care, or youth work is beneficial—but attitude and resilience matter most.
Travel Requirement: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between schools may be required at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning and behavioural needs in the classroom
- Deliver structured strategies to improve engagement and progress
- Assist with literacy and numeracy
- Manage behaviour calmly using clear expectations and positive reinforcement
- Help maintain a safe, structured learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
