Teaching Assistants & Pastoral Support Staff Wanted – SEN School (Fawley Area)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants and Pastoral Support Team Members for specialist SEN schools in the Fawley area, supporting children with a range of complex needs.

The Role
As part of a committed and supportive team, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs

  • Assist in delivering tailored learning and care plans

  • Support students’ emotional wellbeing and behavioural development

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for working with children, especially those with additional needs

  • A caring, patient, and resilient nature

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to commit to a full-time role

  • Availability for an ASAP start

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Essential Requirements

  • An Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • Relevant experience is desirable but not essential—the right attitude matters most

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
