Location: Cardiff
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – until the end of the academic year

Pay: £120 per day via PAYE

Teaching Assistant Roles

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with classwork, activities and learning
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support

  • Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
  • Helping manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

  • Leading classes during teacher absence
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and learning activities
  • Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies and procedures
  • Keeping pupils focused, engaged and on task
  • Supporting pupils to complete their work independently
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons

Training and support are available for Teaching Assistants looking to progress into Cover Supervisor positions.

What We're Looking For

You don't need formal teaching experience. We are looking for people who demonstrate:
