Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire (Stoke, Stafford, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stone, Rugeley)
Pay: £92.63–£155 per day (depending on role and experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-day, short-term & flexible supply

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to support primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
These roles are ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in education, earn alongside other commitments, or work flexibly around studies, family, or other roles. Schools require reliable and adaptable staff who can step into classrooms at short notice to support learning and maintain a positive environment.
Experience in schools is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applicants with transferable skills from care, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, customer service, or leadership roles.
Your Role
- Support pupils 1:1, in small groups, or within the classroom
- Assist with learning, engagement and behaviour management
- Deliver or supervise pre-set work when covering lessons
- Maintain a calm, safe and structured environment
- Adapt to different schools, subjects, and age groups

- Availability for flexible or short-notice work
- Willingness to work across different schools
- A genuine interest in working with young people
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
