We're currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants and 1:1 SEND Support Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools across the local area. Opportunities are available on a flexible day-to-day basis, as well as long-term and permanent placements.

About the Role

No two days are the same. You'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children feel supported, encouraged and inspired to achieve.

Your responsibilities may include:

✅ Supporting teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons

✅ Working with pupils individually or in small groups to boost learning and confidence

✅ Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and social development

✅ Supporting literacy, numeracy and classroom-based activities

✅ Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

✅ Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs

✅ Helping to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from individuals who are:

⭐ Passionate about working with children and making a positive impact

⭐ Patient, nurturing and adaptable in their approach

⭐ Confident communicators who work well as part of a team

⭐ Experienced in schools, childcare, youth work, care settings or SEND support (desirable)

⭐ Holders of a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (advantageous, but not essential)

⭐ Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate if not already registered on the Update Service

⭐ Able to travel to local schools where required
