£92 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in the classroom? We are currently seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Yate (BS37).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teaching staff, supporting pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in class, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
- Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting.
- Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is confident supporting children with additional learning needs.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Formal or informal experience working with children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
