SEN Teaching Assistant

A client school in the Reading area are seeking a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis. This teaching assistant role will be for the whole of the academic year and potentially longer.

The school have currently got a student in year 9 that needs 1:1 support. The candidate needs to have experience with ASD, ADHD and sensory processing disorder.
The student has also shown some PDA traits in the past.
There have been no instances of behaviour, he is just struggling with anxiety and this is affecting his attendance. 

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A passion for education
• Experience working with children
• Qualifications in the relevant area would be beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
