Salary: £90–£94 per day

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive resource base in Tidworth starting this September. This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils who require additional interventions, helping them to engage positively with their learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assist in delivering tailored interventions to support learning and development
  • Support pupils with ADHD, autism, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with diverse needs
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
