About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive resource base in Tidworth starting this September. This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils who require additional interventions, helping them to engage positively with their learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Assist in delivering tailored interventions to support learning and development
- Support pupils with ADHD, autism, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with diverse needs
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
